180 What’s Next…

This is the first Monday I haven’t posted any “Imposition Tour” content since my blog went live!

I remember thinking it would take forever for me to finish telling you that story post-by-post, but it actually didn’t take very long at all… I feel happy it’s up and out there now, and like every manuscript I’ve ever written, when it’s time to close the book, I’m left with mixed emotions.

I’m happy, but I’m a little lonely, too.

I really feel those two emotions when I’m done writing a novel because I know I’m going to miss spending time with my fiction characters so much. (And if you’ve actually read The Imposition Tour, you already know how intense my feelings for Eloise Butts are to this day!) But “the character of me” is still with me, even though I’m done posting my memoir, and so I know I won’t be lonely, but I think I’ll be a little lost for a minute or two.

But well before I put up my last memoir post, I started working on a new project that is a continuation of my process of unpacking my past. I’ve started recording and producing my own podcast! And it’s called:

NERD ALERT

The podcasts are not ready to go up yet, but in the next week or so, the series trailer will be ready, and then soon after that, at least four full episodes and a collection of bonus content will be ready for you to listen to if you’re in the mood.

So…I’m not exactly finished with The Imposition Tour, and I’m definitely not finished with this crazy process of pushing my life and my thoughts out into the world so I can find myself!! But going forward, I’ll be posting my new stuff under a different blog category, so this is OFFICIALLY my very last Imposition Tour Post.

You didn’t think I’d be capable of ending my memoir with 179 posts, now did ya?
Especially when 180 is a much tidier number!
